5 days into the new year and to my surprise, another significant snow event for the Greeley area. Some forecasts called for nearly 7″ of snow to fall. Most settled on the 4″-6″ range. Regardless, the snow began around 1pm MDT and conditions turned white fairly quickly.
The snow continued throughout the day and overnight. By the next morning, we received 4.5″ of snow. Unlike the last storm, this snow was a little drier.
Roads were coated in slush and snow and commuters found it slow going the next day.
