The first significant winter storm for Greeley arrived shortly before 11am MDT. After a clear start to the morning, the fronts came in and the clouds thickened up and lowered.
Flurries quickly led to snow and a decent band parked itself over the area.
Snow continued through the rest of the day and into the evening. By the next day, New Year’s Day, the snow stopped. A fairly wet snow that weighted down the trees a bit and created quite a bit of slush on the roadways. Total accumulation of 5.5″.
Took a drive around town and recorded some video of the roadways during this event.
