And yet another winter storm befell the Greeley, CO area in the early morning of January 25, 2022. By 6am, nearly 3″ of snow was on the ground.
The snow continued through the morning hours. That evening, skies cleared and fog enveloped the region. Along with the cold air, the rime/hoarfrost observed the next day was sight to behold, as was the sunset.
I put a little video together of the road conditions travelers faced as the snow accumulated that morning.
